HODGES (HODGIE) BOLAND

Hodges Boland became a student at Village Karate, Hutchcroft dojo soon after it opened in December 2005. We all remember him then as being a shy, quiet, 4 ½ year old, and obviously “deeper’ than his young exterior. Hodges is a thinker, analytical beyond his years. Mom and Dad have made sure Hodges attends most of his classes and because of his hard work, Hodges achieved Junior Leader. Since he started over two years ago, Hodgie has grown and developed fast, becoming a young leader in the Little Dragon class.

Recently, it was evident Hodges discovered the power in his legs, as his roundhouse kicks WHACKED into the bag, bringing joy to his Sensei and awe and respect to his kohai. In recognition for his new found power and skill, Hodgie received the Excellent Round Kick Patch.
